Chaconne is a filmmaker originally from Portland, Oregon, now living in NYC. Her work explores desire, power, and the female gaze.

Her short films have played at festivals worldwide including SXSW, Seattle, Maryland, and more. She is a member of AFI’s Directing Workshop for Women, a Sony Pictures Directors fellow, and is developing her first feature.

With a background in screenwriting, Chaconne was also a TV Staff Writer on Amazon’s ‘Cruel Intentions’ and ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’.

She studied Creative Writing & Film at Johns Hopkins University.
