Chaconne is a filmmaker originally from Portland, Oregon, now living in NYC. Her work explores desire, power, and the female gaze.

Her short films have played at festivals worldwide including SXSW, Seattle, Maryland, and more. She is a member of the American Film Institute’s Directing Workshop for Women, a Sony Pictures Directors fellow, and is developing her first feature.

With a background in screenwriting, Chaconne has also worked in TV writers rooms as a Staff Writer.

She studied Creative Writing & Film at Johns Hopkins University.
