Chaconne is a writer & director originally from Portland, Oregon, now living between LA and NYC. Her work explores desire, power dynamics, and the female gaze.

She is a writer on Amazon’s upcoming TV Series Cruel Intentions, and previously wrote for Amazon's I Know What You Did Last Summer.

As a director, Chaconne’s short film, Scotty’s Vag, premiered at SXSW 2023 and won Best Narrative Short at Atlanta Film Festival. Watch it on Vimeo. Her short, In Sync, premiered at Maryland Film Festival and is now on NoBudge.

Currently, Chaconne is a 2024 Sony Pictures Television Diverse Directors fellow. She is developing her feature script, which was supported by BendFilm:Basecamp.

She holds a BA in Creative Writing & Film from Johns Hopkins University.
