Chaconne is a writer and director working in film & TV. Her work explores power dynamics, desire, and the female gaze.‍ ‍

Her short films have played at festivals worldwide including SXSW, Seattle, Maryland, and more. She is a member of the American Film Institute’s DWW+, a Sony Pictures Directors fellow, and is developing her feature.

As a screenwriter, Chaconne was a TV Staff Writer on Amazon’s ‘Cruel Intentions’ and ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’.

Chaconne studied Creative Writing & Film Production at Johns Hopkins University.
